4. Usage of Third-Party Email Addresses
If you register for CertsLibrary using an email address associated with a third-party Corporate Account (e.g., an email provided by your employer) we may share your name and email address with the Corporate Account Holder and their administrator. In some cases, we might consolidate your account with the Corporate Account, granting the Corporate Account administrator access to your User Account information and User Content.
This consolidation process typically occurs if your individual account was created before your Corporate Account was established. The purpose of this is to allow users in corporate environments to benefit from the additional security and features offered by Corporate Accounts, ensuring compliance with internal security and email usage protocols.
If you wish to avoid consolidation with a Corporate Account, you will have the option to opt out by changing the email address associated with your account to a personal email that does not belong to the Corporate Account.
Additionally, when a Corporate Account is set up, we may notify any users already using our services with a company-specific email address, prompting them to migrate to the new Corporate Account.
5. Business Transfers
In the event of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets (or even in case of bankruptcy) CertsLibrary may transfer some or all of its business or assets, including your Personal Data. You acknowledge that such transfers are possible and that the acquiring entity may continue to use your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
If such a change occurs, you will be notified either via email or through a prominent notice on our website and you will be informed of any changes in how your data is handled, including any choices you may have in relation to your Personal Data.
Similarly, if you are accessing our services through a third-party Corporate Account, the individual or entity controlling the Corporate Account may transfer or share your User Account, User Content and Personal Data to an acquirer in connection with a business deal.

Mobile Opt-Out: On mobile devices, you can adjust settings to control how mobile app information is collected or transferred for Behavioral Advertising. Additionally, you can install the DAA AppChoice app for iOS or Android to manage these settings.
Do Not Track: Some browsers provide a "Do Not Track" option that signals to websites not to track your activities. Please note that CertsLibrary does not currently support Do Not Track requests, so we will still collect your data during and after your session on our site.
Opting out of Behavioral Advertising means the ads you see will no longer be customized based on your interests, but you may still see generic ads on our platform.
Marketing Emails
You will be able to opt out of marketing-related emails by adjusting your email preferences within your CertsLibrary account settings or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email you receive.
Please note, you cannot opt out of receiving essential service-related emails, which are necessary for account management, security updates and transaction-related communication.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
Except as outlined in this Privacy Policy, we will notify you when your Personal Data may be shared with third parties. You will also have the option to prevent such sharing, in accordance with applicable laws. However, please be aware that opting out of data collection or sharing may limit your ability to use certain features or services within CertsLibrary.

Our approach includes secure data encryption during transmission and when stored (especially for clients using our "private cloud" option) as well as pseudonymization to further enhance security. When you provide us with payment details, they are securely processed by PCI-compliant third-party service providers. We do not store sensitive payment information like full credit card numbers, although we may retain the last four digits of your credit card to comply with regulatory requirements.

We retain your personal information for as long as you maintain an active account with us or as long as necessary to continue providing our services. After you terminate your account, we typically retain your data for an additional 30 days unless you request an earlier deletion.
